Modetype is designed to work without account registration during the MVP stage, while storing minimal anonymous data for tests and surveys.
Information collected
The service may create an anonymous profile ID. When a test is completed, selected answers, calculated type, axis scores, and completion time may be stored. Survey responses and comments are connected to the anonymous profile.
Local and server storage
Browser local storage keeps the profile ID and local test progress. The server stores test results, survey responses, and comments in a SQLite database. Until login is added, this data is not connected to a real-name account.
Purpose of use
Stored information is used for aggregate type calculation, survey statistics, service improvement, and future detailed reports.
Deletion requests
Clearing browser data removes local access to the profile ID. To request deletion of anonymous server data, contact [email protected].
